2025 Participant Guide

The City of Indianapolis is a little obsessed with fast races and massive sporting events. On Saturday, May 3, 2025, more than 20,000 participants will take over the streets of downtown Indianapolis for The Greatest Spectacle in Running® - the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K.

Named Best Half Marathon by USA TODAY's 10Best, America’s Best Half Marathon of the Decade by the BibRave 100, and “America’s Most Iconic Races” by Runners World, each year the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon attracts participants from all 50 states and 15+ countries around the world.

Refund Policy
All race entries are non-refundable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate.

Online Registration Fee
RunSignup has been contracted by the 500 Festival to provide online registration for our running events, including the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon and Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K. RunSignup charges a modest transaction fee that will be detailed in the Summary of Charges prior to your credit card transaction on the payment page.

Terms & Conditions
The 500 Festival reserves the right to cancel a registration or sale, even after it has been placed. We apologize for any inconvenience.
