5K Course 3.1 Miles

Please find the location of the “pit station” along the course listed in the map linked. Water and portable restrooms are provided at all pit stations.

Standards for Support

Qualifying period: January 1, 2025 – April 8, 2026
Road 5 KM – Men: 13:20 Women: 15:00
Track 5000m – Men: 13:05 Women: 14:50

Additional Standards Considered for Support. Priority will be given to athletes with 5000m or 5 KM qualifying times.

1500/Mile: M 3:37/3:55 / W 4:08/4:27
3000m: M 7:46 / W 8:51
10000: M 27:57 / W 32:05
Half Marathon: M 1:01:15 / W 69:45

Support is available to 15 Men and 15 Women who have met the set standards.

Perks

$125 per diem
$200 stipend for travel to be reimbursed following the event
Pre-race breakfast at the hotel
Friday night dinner at the hotel

Prize Money

To be eligible for prize money, you must be approved and registered through the 500 Festival’s Elite Athlete Program. There will be $22,500 total prize money per gender. The finish order is based on gun time.

3^rd: $3,500
4^th: $2,000
5^th: $1,000
6^th: $900
7^th: $700
8^th: $600
9^th: $500
10^th: $300

Please Note: It is the responsibility of the athlete to determine if they are able to accept prize money and how that prize may be spent to maintain high school and/or collegiate eligibility.

*All Elite Athletes should participate in an honorable and moral manner and in accordance with USATF rules and regulations. The 500 Festival reserves the right to void prize money and/or disqualify an Elite Athlete if they are deemed to have acted against these standards.
