Your voice can help your favorite runner cross the finish line! Through our partnership with Rally: Voice Notes on Race Day, you can now send personalized voice messages that play automatically in their headphones during the race.

How it works:

  • Get the Link: Your runner will download the Rally app (on Google or Apple) and send you a unique recording link
  • Record Your Boost: Click the link to record your message — no app download required for you!
  • Race Day Magic: Your cheers will play mile-by-mile, giving them a boost right when they need it most.

Pro Tip: Be sure to check the Street Closures page before you head out, as many downtown roads will be restricted on race morning!

Best Places to Cheer 📣

To be the ultimate spectator, you need to know where the action is!

  • The Start Line on Washington Street ➜ Feel the electricity as thousands of participants begin their journey. It’s the best place to see the “sea of runners” at its peak!
  • Main Street in Speedway (Mile 5) ➜ This is a fan-favorite! The vibes are incredible as runners head toward the track. Grab a coffee at Founder’s Grounds Coffee Company and cheer in a high-energy, community environment.
  • Gate 2 Entrance at IMS (16th & Georgetown) ➜ Watch the excitement as they prepare to enter the legendary grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
  • The Victory Mile (New York St.) ➜ This is where they need you most! Line the streets of the final mile to give them that last burst of motivation before the finish.
  • The Finish Line Grandstands ➜ Located on New York Street near Military Park. Grab a seat and watch your runner conquer the final yard of bricks!

Reuniting After the Race

After crossing the finish line, participants enter the Runners’ Services Area to collect their medal and refuel with a variety of post-race refreshments. Once they’ve grabbed their gear, they will be filtered directly into the Post-Race Party at Military Park.

Pick a Meeting Spot:

  • Meijer Family Reunion Area: We’ve made it easy to find each other! Head to the northwest section of Military Park and look for the tall signs with letters of the alphabet. We suggest meeting at the letter that matches your runner’s last name.
  • Make Your Own Plan: The Post-Race Party, presented by PNC Bank, is a large celebration with live music and food. Feel free to coordinate a specific landmark or vendor in the park as your own personal meeting point!
  • If you have friends or family running in the KidsFit Final 5K, take a look at those race pages for specific reunion instructions.

Note: For the safety of our participants, spectators are not permitted inside the Runners’ Services Area. We’ll see you at the party!
