Logging Miles

Participants can complete their miles in any activity they prefer!

Participants can submit their results from June 1 – October 31. In the spirit of fairness and sportsmanship, we kindly ask participants to adhere to these dates. Please do not include any mileage outside of the listed timeframe.

Participants do not necessarily need to submit their results, but we highly encourage it! It’s a great way to see how you stack up against other participants, and it helps you keep track of how many miles you’ve completed. You can submit your results online here.

Participants can include mileage from the first day mileage logging opened, which was June 1.

Absolutely! You can complete whatever distance you are most comfortable with.

Yes! For example, if you want to submit miles associated with your pedometer, and another activity associated with a bike ride, you can do so.

While a GPS tracker is not necessary, you will need some way to track your miles, such as a pedometer, the display screen on a treadmill or elliptical, or even your smart phone!

There is not an event-specific app for this challenge. If you’d like to automatically have your activities uploaded, consider downloading the Runkeeper app.
