Get Voice Notes on Race Day

Training gets you to the start line, but your “people” get you to the finish. This year, you can bring your support system with you for every mile.

We’ve partnered with Rally to bring personalized voice messages from your friends and family directly to your headphones on race day (for both the Mini-Marathon and 5K!). Whether they are standing on the curb at the Yard of Bricks or cheering from another time zone, you’ll hear their voices exactly when you need that extra push.

Here’s how it works

Invite Your Crew
➜ Download the Rally app and send your unique recording link to your family and friends

They Record, You Run ➜ Your crew records a quick message through the link — they don’t even need the app to do it!

The Ultimate Boost ➜ On race day, follow the instructions on the app and hit “Start” in the Rally app. The messages you receive will play automatically through your headphones mile by mile, cheering you on all the way to the finish line.

Meet the 2026 Gear

IU Health 500 Festival Mini-Marathon Gear

To celebrate the 50th Mini-Marathon, this year’s participant merch leans into the iconic elements that make this race so special. The shirt and medal share the same fonts, gold accents, and “Running since 1977” message, with Indy staples like the Borg-Warner Trophy, checkered flag, skyline, Pagoda, and IMS track woven throughout the designs. From the bold 50 on the medal to the anniversary touches on the shirt and hat, every piece was created to help you celebrate the race, the city, and 50 years of the Mini.

Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K Gear

This year’s 5K merch celebrates Hoosier pride and local traditions with design elements unique to Indianapolis. The shirt features brick-inspired 5K lettering on the front, with Back Home Again and the USATF emblem on the back, marking the return of the USATF Championships to the 5K. The shirt and medal share the red star from the Indianapolis flag and red, white, and blue accents tied to IMS’s “United We Race” theme. Skyline details on the medal create a meaningful keepsake to celebrate the race, the city, and your finish.
